Stefaan Rotthier
My name is Stefaan Rotthier, a third-generation family hunter. Hunting has been in my blood from a very young age, and I have been actively hunting for the last 24 years. I practice both bowhunting and rifle hunting, and am especially passionate about roaming the mountains with my backpack and bow.
Where and how did you meet Stijn/Forgehunt?
I was contacted by Stijn to promote his knives by creating content. From the start, it was clear that we shared the same passion for quality gear and an authentic hunting lifestyle.
Your most memorable experience with your Forgehunt knife.
During my last trip to Spain for Cantabrian chamois, I had to skin my trophy and harvest the meat directly in the field using my Forgehunt knife. Everything else was left for the vultures. In moments like that, you truly rely on your knife, and it performed flawlessly.
Your hunting goals for the coming year.
A good knife is just as important to me as the rest of my equipment. With a Forgehunt knife, I know I can handle every situation; from skinning a trophy for preparation to cleaning meat for consumption, always with efficiency and style. Continuing mountain hunts and meaningful experiences in the wild remain my main focus.
