Patrick van Asselt
My name is Patrick van Asselt, a hunter and wildlife photographer, 30 years old and active in the hunting world since 2016. I grew up in the forests of the Veluwe in Gelderland (NL), surrounded by wildlife and the rhythm of nature.
Where and how did you meet Stijn/Forgehunt?
​I first met Stijn at the Game Fair after he reached out to me through social media. Since 2025, I’ve been actively involved with Forgehunt, and I’m genuinely enthusiastic about the beautiful, high-quality knives built for true professional use.
Your most memorable experience with your Forgehunt knife.

Your hunting goals for the coming year.
My goals for 2026 are to stay healthy, spend as much time as possible in nature, and continue using Forgehunt knives wherever my work and passion take me.
