My name is Stijn De Grijse, and Forgehunt is the result of a passion that has been burning in me for years: the drive to create something tangible, reliable, and beautiful. What began as a curiosity for metalworking grew into a deep love for crafting knives — and eventually into my own workshop in Herzele, Belgium.

From a young age, I felt drawn to the outdoors. Hunting taught me to respect nature and the tools you rely on. A good knife is essential: it must be functional, durable, dependable… but also an extension of yourself. That understanding has shaped my work.

In my workshop, I make every knife completely by hand, one at a time. No mass production, no shortcuts. I choose the materials with care, listen closely to the needs of each customer, and then craft a knife that is not only beautiful but also performs in the toughest conditions. My goal is simple: to deliver a knife a hunter can rely on, year after year, adventure after adventure.

Forgehunt stands for craftsmanship, honest work, and respect for tradition. Every piece I create carries a part of my story, my experience, and my dedication. And I’m proud to share that with hunters who feel the same passion.
